Atsuo Suziki ” carved painting silver “

The artist says that it’s been almost 20 years since I started “curving acrylic paints with a carving knife” as a way to create my own works but I still happy to be able to create with a fresh mind.

In this solo exhibition, he use mainly silver color, and will show his works with an awareness that the impression changes depending on the angle from which the work is viewed and the way the light hits the surface.

In addition, he will also present a series of works from his recent series, “Considering the relationship between a two-dimensional work and a piece of paint created by engraving”

The exhibition will also presented vessels from paint chips from the same series.

The artist’s sincere approach to his work can be seen in his pairing of carved paintings and paint chips in various forms.

We cordially invite you to come visit this precious opportunity.
